Feeding the Brain for Development and Success
The brain neurons need good fats, protein, complex carbohydrates, micro-nutrients, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrient- and water. These nutrients are used to drive the learning functions of neurons.

We provide 2 well-balanced nutritious meals and two snacks daily.
Breakfast

A wholesome breakfast is served every morning from 07:45 to 08:00. Snack times are at 10:00 in the morning and 15:00 in the afternoon.

Snack times

Fruit is daily served as the mid-morning snack and sandwiches are served as the mid-afternoon snack.

Lunch time

A child-friendly menu is offered to all learners. Lunch time is served from 11:30 consisting of protein, carbohydrates and veggies daily. Juice, tea or water is also offered with meals and snacks.

Late Afternoon Snack time: 16:00

Parents are required to send a late afternoon snack from home for those toddlers staying later than 16:00. We find that without a snack at 16:00, the toddlers become very hungry and irritable, as it is a very long stretch for them before supper time!

Kindly ensure to send healthy snacks for 16:00 snack time. Examples of healthy snacks: viennas, Melrose cheese cubes, fruit sticks, biltong, cheddar / tuc biscuits, yoghurt etc. Please do not send chips, sweets or popcorn to school!
